Union advised host James Corden on The Late Late Show that “everybody and their mother” auditioned for a job, so she needed to stand out. So for inspiration she drew on her idol: Janet Jackson. “To me, I had to feel like the most powerful, beautiful, and amazing lady in the world. So of course, I sought after to channel Janet Jackson.”
“I sought after to get the good hair, the Janet hair, from the weave emporium,” she mentioned. “I literally [discovered] the precise outfit from her album quilt. I [drew] within the damn mole.
