It’s long been speculated that Kris Jenner had a hand in releasing the intercourse tape that made her daughter well-known. However, a lie detector seems to have put the rumor to rest after the matriarch handed with flying colours.
On Thursday, September 8th, Kris and her youngest daughter Kylie Jenner made an appearance on James Corden’s Late Late Show. During one section, the industry manager was once hooked up to a lie detector test to respond to a number of heated questions. And Kris didn’t grasp back.
Kris Denies Helping Kim Release The Tape
The first few questions were light. Kris was teasingly asked if she had any “overseas tax shelters,” to which she successfully answered “No.” Kylie proceeded to ask her mom if she was her “favorite child.” Kris replied “Yes,” and the lie detector confirmed it was a truthful response.
However, things heated up when James then asked Kris whether she had any part in releasing Kim’s sex tape with Ray J.
Kris was quick to respond with “No,” but there was a long pause before the television host revealed whether her answer was truthful or not. He eventually gave a thumbs up, confirming Kris was indeed telling the truth.
But Ray J Has Accused Kris Of Being Involved In The Tape’s Release
Even though the lie detector seems to suggest that Kris had nothing to do with the tape, Ray J has claimed otherwise.
Earlier this year, the singer claimed Kim’s mother was the driving force behind the tape’s release and believed it would help both his and Kim’s career. However, while it may have skyrocketed Kim into the public eye, he says it hurt his career.
"I've by no means leaked anything else. I've never leaked a sex tape in my life. It has never been a leak,” he advised Daily Mail.
"It's always been a deal and a partnership between Kris Jenner and Kim and me and we've always been partners since the beginning of this thing,” Ray J continued.
The singer’s admission comes after an episode of The Kardashians showed Kim’s ex-husband Kanye West traveling to Los Angeles to allegedly recover a second sex tape from Ray J. However, Ray J denies ever having any tape in his possession and claims it was all fabricated by the Kardashians for their benefit.
"I will't live the remainder of my existence on this lie. This morning, I awoke and stated, you recognize what?” He added. “For the rest of my lifestyles, I'm going to reside in my truth and now not in the lie that's been created by means of Kris Jenner and Kim."
